GWM ORA partners with Wales’ largest automotive retailer, Sinclair Group, to launch its tenth sales and aftersales site in the UK
- Sinclair Swansea opens its brand new GWM ORA showroom on July 5th
- The GWM ORA network is growing rapidly, with six retail group appointments this year already
- GWM ORA now has a total of 30 customer service points across the UK, including both sales and aftersales only sites
Today, GWM ORA UK announces its new partnership with Wales’ largest automotive retailer, Sinclair Group. The brand will launch initially with one site in Swansea, officially opening its doors to the public for the first time on the 5th July.
GWM ORA UK has announced six new retail group partnerships this year already and is on track to achieve a total of 20 full sales sites by the end of 2023. While GWM ORA does take an omni-channel approach to sales through ‘ORA Online’, the brand is investing heavily in physical retail spaces which it believes will be key to scaling the brand in the UK.

Sinclair Group has a long history in the automotive sector, starting its operations in 1945 when mechanic Bill Sinclair returned from the war and opened a garage business repairing cars in Port Talbot. Swansea’s GWM ORA showroom is located on the popular SA1 development at Mercedes-Benz of Swansea. ORA Funky Cat demonstrators are now available for customers to experience on short term and longer 24-hour test drives.
